Eligibility
The live campaign identifies the policing organisations, service status, experience and qualifications it accepts. Do not assume that service in another organisation automatically qualifies.
Role and appointment
The campaign states the HIOWC role being recruited. Previous rank or specialist duties do not create an automatic entitlement to an equivalent HIOWC appointment.
Transferability
Existing training, skills and authorisations are reviewed rather than assumed to transfer automatically. Any gap is addressed through the HIOWC induction or development process.
Selection and checks
Applicants complete the campaign selection process and all identity, integrity, vetting, medical, fitness, reference or other appointment checks required for the post.
